Arsenal 2nd season signings

hi all,

ive just this minute finished the first season on my arsenal save. i finished 2nd to a run away Manchester united team but won the europa league.

im losing Mertersaker due to retirement and Wilshere and Cazorla to end of contracts. in january i lost Sanchez, Elneny and Walcott so i brought in Gelson Martins and Dolberg and Milinkovic Savic. I also signed 3 young players (Douglas, Walter Gonzalez and Luataro Martinez) however these cannot get work permits so i sent them out on loan.

i managed to sign Van Dijk for next season for £44m and im looking cor 2 CM's. one DLP and one AP so add cover and challenge Ozil and Xhaka for places.

i have just accepted 3 offers for Debuchy and just had an offer of £12m accepted for Jonny the fullback.

I missed out on some of the usual names from these forums such as; Leon Goretzka (new contract £70m clause) De Ligt (Barcelona)


I currently have £43m to spend (after Jonny transfer) to improve the sqaud.

In a similar situation myself, except finished 3rd behind Chelsea and United. Currently halfway through my second season.

Diawara from Napoli is absolute beast as a BWM either at the DM or CM positions. Set me back £60 million, but he's a bargain at twice the price. Also managed to loan Renato Sanches from Bayern to play next to him.

Fiorentina got relegated at the end of my first season, so I was able to get Chiesa for less than £20 million. Took a few games to settle in but now he's providing loads of assists as well as chipping in with a few goals.

Need to find myself a new GK as Cech is nearly 37 and his contact is up at the end of the season. Could also do with an attacking LB who's an upgrade on what I currently have

Doucoure from Watford is outstanding for Arsenal cause he's a huge physical presence
For a LB I'd go for Ryan Sessegnon as he's good young English fb and with arsenal you always need good English players for the quota lol
For a GK I just went with Jack Butland but he's not the cheapest, think I offered 20m upfront, 15m in 3 years if instalments and David ospina
