I've been messing around with tactics and this seems like a good tactic for the arsenal, but something about it wont flow properly.

In the 4-1-2-1-2 the AM just WILL NOT play properly as a trequartista. I don't know if it's because fabregas is in midfield and playing as playmaker so he kind of steals the trequartista because it seems as if a trequartista is meant to be the star of the team. Still, my trequartista should be dropping into holes and giving fabregas another passing option! Anyway I'll upload the tactic, if you guys could give me some input that would be great.

I manage Arsenal and I use the same tactic 4-1-2-1-2 because I think it suits properly. I have not set my AMC as trequartista. I left the default 4-1-2-1-2 tactic and sometimes I feel that I do not have the wanted consistency in the final 3rd. How many of you use 4-1-2-1-2 on Arsenal ?

I gave up on using the 4-1-2-1-2 because i just wasn't getting the amount of chances I wanted out of a squad that talented. I moved to a 3-2-3-2 and have been very successful.

When I first used 4-1-2-1-2 with Arsenal I thaught the same: they were not reaching their potential, but after I spent some hours researching the forum, I rebuilt the 4-1-2-1-2 tactic, and now they are briliant. I use : Cesc Fabregas (MC) as an Advanced Playmaker, Jack Wilshere(AMC) and Messut Ozil (AMC) as Trequartistas, Alexis Sanchez (ST) as a Complete Forward, Robin Van Persie (ST) as an Advanced Forward, Arturo Vidal (DM) as an Anchorman, same Moussa Sissoko (DM). I uploaded here my complete tactic. I am a great fan of 4-1-2-1-2 and I look forward to improve it. Now, Arsenal is reaching it’s potential, dominating posession and scoring lot of goals, same as creating chances. If you have any questions, please write’em down. Excuse my eventual spelling mistakes, I am romanian. Cheers ;)

You do know that Alexis Sanchez aint a complete forward as he can't header, take free kicks or aint class penalty taker ;)

I was messing around with formations and started using 4-2-2-2 was 16 and ended up second and second season came first with only 2 losses and 5 draws .

I know that Alexis Sanchez doesn't have all the required skills for a Complete Forward, but he is enjoying his position in the field. Here is the result of my last match :) It was a flyin' match :D
