Hi guys - I'm just about to start my fourth season in charge of Arsenal (Season 2012/13) and i'm looking for a young(ish) box to box midfielder who will suit the way Arsenal play in real life. I should have plenty of cash as i have just won the Premier League for the second time as well as the Champions League. I have tried and fairly successfully kept my spending down over the last couple of season too so that should benefit me.

I'm predicting that the board will give me a budget in the region of £30-5m, especially to ward off interest in my manager from Juve.

I'm play "Dial-Square v2.2." tactic with a flat central 3 and two wide men with one up front on his own. I'm considering promoting Jack Wilshere and/or Fran Merida or even Craig Eastmond/Emmanuel Frimpong into the first team. Diaby and Denilson are still at the club but Pat Rice doesn't think much of them.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I'd rather not spend a huge amount of money and i'm going to be reluctant to go over £10/12m unless the player is really worth it.

Have you tried Ignacio Camacho?

miguel veloso. can play any role to be fair. i picked him up for £21mil 2011

Anderson, Kwadwo Asamoah, Moussa Sissoko

I had success with Simon Vuckevic as a Box to Box midfielder playing alongside Matias Fernandez as a playmaker...those two were dominant for me playing as Newcastle...can't remember how old hed be then though.

Moussa Sissoko for box to box is an absolute beast. Play him in my arsenal game there, and gets soo many long shot goals and assists it's insane. is strong and secure, but creative as well...got him for £14m 2nd season. Worth every penny.

Thanks for the help guys - I think i'm actually just going to stick with what i've got - Which is essentially a rotation system, with Denilson, Diaby, and largely Ramsey filling that spot - although if i do feel the need to buy, it will most likely be someone like Sissoko or Camacho as they're a good age, and may help out a little more at the back!
