I have just started new game with arsenal and want to bring new english talent to the team. Either young or in their prime. Iam new to FM and would like to know the best english GK and Centre halfs. Help???

Keeper - Alex Smithies, Joe Hart, Jason Steele, Ben Amos
Center Backs - Mark Beevers, Jordan Spence, Miles Addison, James Tomkins, Steven Taylor

No top class ones though, because FM10 actually rates English youth pretty lowly.

thanks guys. what about a youngish english center back who goes on to be worldclass like terry or campbell.

wrong place dude, this is the right place....

as mentioned, Jordan Spence is exactly that as well as:

Michael Mancienne - Chelsea
Jack Cork - Chelsea
Michael Potts - Man City
Lee Cattermole - Sunderland
Jonjo Shelvey - Charlton
Nathan Delfuenso - Aston Villa
Jack Collison - West Ham - is Welsh though :)
Dan Gosling - Everton
Michael Woods - Chelsea
Kyle Naughton - Tottenham
Andrew Driver - Hearts
Danny Welbeck - Man Utd
Jack Wilshire - Aresenal
Chris Cohen - Forrest
Joe Mattock - West Brom
Michael Johnson - Man City
Ryan Shawcross - Stoke

rodwell turned out pretty disappointing for me, for CB i would bet on Shawcross

Alex Nimely-Tchuimeni is pretty good on my save as well

Joe Mattock Turns out as one of the best LB for England, Adam Pepper can be the next Gerrard.. but sometimes he gets snapped up by a big club and not loaned out so he doesnt improve as much.. Delph can also partner him in the Centre of Midfield...

i think in FM young english talent is missing and generally the World Ranking tends to slip
