if huddlestone can stamp on players, im sure the slightest touch 40 yards from goal might be ok.

They didn't take any action against huddlestone as the referee saw it and deemed it not bad enough for a free kick.
 
It was last man. Not sure if that involves it being a clear goalscoring oppurtunity.
 
And the irony of it all is that Ranger supports Arsenal.

But yes he would have had a clear goalscoring opportunity
 
This looked like a red card when I saw it on MOTD.

The foul began when Squillaci was much further behind Ranger. You may argue he could have gotten across in time to prevent a goalscoring opportunity, but the truth is he was only able to make up that ground once Koscielny had slowed Ranger down with the foul.
 
When I first saw it, I immediately thought, red card, but then after I looked at it again, I thought about it, Squillaci was coming round and it would have been interesting, but it might have been a clear goalscoring opp.

I would have appealed it, but I'm not sure what will happen :S
 
It's been turned down. He will serve a two game ban.
 
Can i ask why a 2game ban if it was a straight red?? I know he has been served a ban already this season so surely it should be 3 or even more.
 
Not a clue, SSN said earlier that he was going to serve a 2 game ban.
 
Was definitely a red card. Last man = red card, as has been said I am not sure how Arsenal fans can argue about it.

"Professional foul" + "Last man" = Red card + one game ban.

2 sendings off = 1 match ban

a+b = 2 match ban

Cheers for clearing up, we haven't had a red for a while so its all new to me lol.
