Arsenal agree to sell striker Eduardo da Silva to Ukrainian outfit Shaktar Donetsk for a reported fee of £6m.

best for him.... he is good player, but he didn't want to warm the bench...

it's cause of his injury
hope Ramsay doesn't turn out to be like Ed

Dun, dun, dun.. another one bites the dust.

As KidSparxx, he wasn't the same after his injury. Not a big loss in selling him, though. Good luck at Shaktar.

I suppose if they have now got Chamakh then they have 1 striker too many. But he was amazing before that unlucky injury. And that's cost him alot.

But 6m isn't enough for someone with that quality but I suppose if he failed to perform well recently then Arsenal had no choice. :@

Such a shame that he had to be rocked by that horrific injury.

All the best Eddie.

They've lost money in this sale.
Not the same player anymore, unfortunately.

Hopefully he will be able to find the form that made him great for Arsenal before that horrific injury, good lucky Eduardo.

Not sure if this a good move by Wenger, a few starts, to boost his confidence and you never know... we all saw how lethal he was before the injury.

Sad. Hope that he can rediscover his form after that horrendous injury.

shame could have been such a legend for us but as all the posts above say after his injury not the same player maybe he will be better suited over there i don`t know that league very well but the prem is a very tough league with hard tacklers and some dirty barstards also would love to name a few but why bother hopefully he can score buckets over there good luck ed!

quite shocking at this. Although he hasn't been anywhere near as consistent since his injury.

Great buy for Shaktar though.

with this pic on his shirt

That is too far....

Used to be quality, had the potential to be one of the best in the league. Then that happened...

There no need for that pic mate... Its horrific enough. ruined 1 of the brightest talents in the premier league, just hope Aaron Ramsey recovers and finds his from better than Ed
