Anyone every get the board to build a new stadium and if so what year and under what circumstances (i.e. finance, confidence, conversation responses).

why do you need a new stadium? will take years since it is 6/7 years old

I heard stories of stadiums being named after the manager.

Emirates is new, so they won't build it for at least another 18 years. To get it named after you, you have to be a club legend (Although you don't have to still be at the club when the stadium is planned/built/etc. On my Arsenal save, I left for Munich then about half a dozen teams after that. Around 2035 they built a new stadium and named it after me, despite the fact I hadn't been at the club for 15 years :/

They should include stands being named after you. It would be more realistic. Don't see many stadiums names IRL named after managers. (off top of my head I can't think of any :|)

I'm in the year 2026 and its only just became an option to build a new stadium however the board are having none of it. I've sold out season tickets for the last 10 years or more, have £300m in the bank and they still wont let me build a new one
