We made that so unnecessarily difficult for us. Wigan seemed to have run out of steam after about 10 minutes. Could have been 9 easily. (Ref. Spuds 9-1)

Yeah, I went with a mate.

Interesting how Arsenal were so much more willing to play balls over the top for RVP (which he eventually scored from) and for Walcott (from which he could/should have scored at least one goal). We stretched the play, and Wigan couldn't cope at all, too many players tracking Fabregas, so when RVP dropped deep no one tracked him and he could pick it up and play it off with ease and in space.
