Steve Bould resigns as assistant manager Steve Bould has resigned as Arsenal assistant manager after falling out with Arsene Wenger on the training ground. Bould has released a formal statement; "It is with great sadness I leave Arsenal but I feel I have no choice. I love the club and always will but I don't think I can be friends with Arsene Wenger in a working capacity. Out of work we are good friends and I think to save the players the burden of arguments I am going to leave. I know Arsenal will be in good hands with or without me and my departure won't be too harsh on the players. I wish the club every success in their hunt for silverware and their challenge for the Premier League title." Arsenal would like to thank Steve for his hard work and service as a coach for the past 12 years..
