Asking the board to buy player problem

Earlier in the season i asked them to sign me john fleck, nothing came of it and now when i try to get a player, it wont work.

It probably is a glitch and might have been fixed in the latest update.

the only thing i would suggest is to have a different conversation with them and see if that helps other than that i dont know what else to try sorry

Did they buy John Fleck or attempt to get a deal done for him earlier?

Because I found out that this seems to work only once in a season. I bought Dzeko like this and saw a similar screen when I attempted more such conversations.

nothing came of it so i signed him on loan myself :/ that might be it then
