I use my scouts to search for players and then shortlist all of the best players my scout finds, when I then want to purchase a player i just consult my shortlist and have the *** man filter all the unrealistic targets.
I have recently found that the *** man filters many players that are not unrealistic at all. Whens searching for a new striker I found some in my scouts reports which my assistant manager filtered out as being unrealistic and were therefore not showing on my shortlist. I eventually went on to sign one of these players (who was better than all the others in the shortlist, and cheaper both in terms of contract and fee).
What I want to know is if there is an attribute that controls assistant managers ability to filter these supposed unrealistic targets because I am probably missing out on many signings due to this.
