Assistant Opposition instuction bar disabled!!

I have just appointed a new Assistant Manager and the opposition instructions bar is disabled, where as before my old assistant used to give advice just before the game also my coach gives me advice on the other team not the asssistant!, meaning i now have to change how i want my players to tactically go into the game every game! (Is this just another bug in the game?).

Any advice on this would be much appreciated thanks!, ste
 
I too have this problem and I am wondering if it has anything to do with the *** man getting to know the team as he is new but I could be completely wrong!
 
How long have you had this problem?, its been about 9 games for me!!, your possibly right about just getting to know the team!. Keep me updated oakesypvfc on your sitation and i'll post back, if it comes back or not!!.
 
My assistant can do it now it was about 5 games for me
 
I must have a cr@p Assistant manager then im Chester in the BSP in my 2nd season doing well but my other assistant left, out of contract, my new Assistant has all the qualities but.........not doing what i need him to do!:'(.

i dont think it should matter really thats he's new, i just signed a new *** man (mauro tassotti), and he was giving me advice first game ( and he also currently speaks no english). having said he has got good adaptability, and in fairness hes actually a quality assist manager

can you guys post screenshots of your *** man attributes, one with the numbers, and one with the bar breakdown?
 
themadsheep2001, i think im his first club as a part of the staff if that helps!
 
maybe because paul groves' Tactical knowledge is like 8? and the other dudes is like near perfect? lol
 
Well without being pedantic its worse.....its 7!

I was able to get his advice against AFC Wimbledon, then the next game and so on its disabled again!!!:'(

lol yeahmate it'll be down to his low tactical rating. obvioulsy you want a well rouned *** man. but if you have to make a choice, tactical rating is the key one, your coaches can make up for the other stuff in the backroom, but on the pitch youve only got him
 
It happens to me sometimes.........nly away games though (I don't think Torquay can afford to take their assistant away from home.....:L :P
 
Thanks guy's your advice is much appreciated although i'll just have to tough it out till the end of the season before i can get someone else in! thats if i can get anyone with a good tactical rating!! :)

This was the case guys thanks!, accepted the darlington job and appointed this bloke as Assistant Manager and he advises every game!! :D
