Aston Villa 3rd season need a decent LB

Well...as the title says I'm just starting my 3rd season at Villa, doing well after a 3rd place finish and 2 League Cups. Warnock wouldn't sign a new contract so has gone on a free, luckily with Blackburn relegated I picked up Olssen cheap(ish) @ £7.5mil. Now I need a young back up for Olssen. Doesn't have to set the world alight but is reliable as I use Ciaran Clark as my 1st choice CB.

I got a budget of £20mil and would prefer British due to self imposed restrictions.

Tried but Liverpool want £15m+ I've admired him, declared interest and he says he flattered and honoured etc...
