3 new signings!

Fox has today revealed he has 3 players within 13 days of the transfer window starting
The transfers being:

Mauro Zarate: 31.5mil
Mamadou Sakho: 25mil
Guilherme Ochoa: 8mil

Fox has stated he knows spending just over 60million for 3 players is a gamble, but he said it was a risk he had to take. He had this to say 'There wasn't many top class strikers interested in this club and I knew I needed to spend in order to bring in the talent, Mauro is young, quick and an amazing striker and I think he will work well at this club, Sakho is a wonderkid no doubt I would have paid 50million for this guy as I know for a fact he will deliver. Ochoa on the other hand was a 2nd hand pick, I first wanted Akinfeev or Ochoa, Akinfeev noticably being the better keeper from what I've seen, but I knew he'd cost a hefty 30mil and couldn't afford this'

I paid for these all over 48months :) I know this will dent the finances a bit, but needed to lol :)

Awesome end to the season, with Chelsea winning the league on goal difference and Birmingham being relegated on goal difference as well...but they deserve it...lol.
Best of luck for the second season, and yes we do hope Villa can buy a proper striker IRL.
 
I'd love to have made some of your signings! you're doing awesome and I think you'll do just fine making a title challenge

I wasn't too sure about Zarate, but I wanted to make a change, I always sign the agueros, patos and dzekos, so i thought a change :)

and second season syndrome? lol enlighten me
 
You can also arrange your own friendlies. Go to your fixtures, there is an option near the bottom "Arrange Friendly".

AUGUST

August is personally the worst month for me as a manager on any save. I always lose my first game in charge and completely destroys my morale lol, I can't remember the last time on FM I won on the opening day. It happened last season beating Pompey 2-1, am I destined for another opening day victory AWAY at Stamford Bridge? Anyway, find out in the screenshots :), My new signings Zarate, Ochoa and Sakho have been in action, all raking in the ratings getting atleast 7's each game. Zarate has been on fire scoring 4 in 5 in all competitions! He has to be my Player of the month, As you can see I beat Porto to get into the Champions League group stage (fans adored me for it!) I got a VERY tough group. Lyon, Valencia and Napoli. Lyon and Valencia will prove to be the hardest, but never knock Napoli they have a great strikeforce, so we will have to wait and see what the Champions League Brings me!

Goals for this season:

Challenge for the Premiership Title
Get through to the knockout rounds of the Champions League
Win either the FA Cup or Carling Cup
Make my team a force to be reckoned with!

Great story foxycfc. what tactics are you using if you dont mind me asking because i just keep on conceding late on in games.
 
Complete Dominance 10.2, But i completely changed it to my own, but try it :)
