depends what season and how good your team is. To start out in the EPL, regardless of what team I am, i start with a 4-3-2-1 formation, with 3 central midfielders, 2 wingers and a striker up front. make sure you have at least one of the centre mids as a ball willing midfielder. and you should be fine to be honest. Worked well for me with QPR. hopefully you've got in some good players for the roles.
