Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me please?

Every now and again, about every couple of matches (FM10), my screen freezes during the match (although the game carries on playing but I can't see it, just a frozen screen). After about 5-10 secs, it wipes blank, then the match comes back on. A yellow warning triangle then appears in my taskbar.

I have an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 512 and I have the Catalyst Control Centre installed for it, and the driver is the latest one.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's not a fatal error, but just very annoying! I'm not 100% it is my graphics card, but seems like it.

sounds like a memory leak in fm. what patch are you using?

bring up your task manager when fm is running to see how much memory its running

I'm seeing CPU Usage between 7-10% and Physical Memory 74-76%.
I have 4GB total RAM, AMD Athlon Dual Core processors, Vista 32-bit.

Possibly an overheating graphics card? Check for dust inside your PC and the ventilation is working etc.

I just did a bit of Googling, and found that the yellow triangle icon with an exclamation mark inside is from Device Manager saying something failed. So I went into it, show hidden devices, and found the culprit. Something called Rapportbuka - which I've now found is a system file used by my IObit systemcare cleaner which runs in the background (probably the smart defragger i used). I'll shut this down when I play then and see if it makes a difference.

Run a virus/malware scan just to be sure.

I'd also suggest running something like CCleaner to tidy up your registry.

edit: just odd that it only happens during FM as if it were regular, you'd know about it as it would be causing stuff every time that programme was running.
edit 2: if it still happens after virus scanning and tidying registry, try reinstalling the latest version of the programme you think it's related to.

Yeah I've done all that. IOBit's Advanced Systemcare Pro is one of the best around for registry cleaning, defragging and cleaning, I use it almost daily. I could try a reinstall.
Thanks for the suggestions guys :)
