This is my Simeone playin-style. I ve won the bundesliga with mainz, the first year i used these tactics, and later on i tried it with blackburn, and won the championship( although i was predicted to finish 12th). I m just gonna post some screenshots in addition to my tactics and if i get a good response ill further analyse them. You have to give it a try as it gets very awesome results after players get used to these tactics.
 
no ios.. sometimes i instructed the if to close down the opposing full backs.. but you can experiment on that... the training is set to tactics and once in a while if you are conceding you can switch it to defence... match prep is attackin movement

My initial thoughts are that one shouldn't ask the IFs to mark the FBs.

And there's something about "Stick to Positions" and "Limited Defenders" roles that my backline consisting of an aging Kalas and Sokratis Popodopolus, and 2 youth players as Anchors in 2021 in Sevilla are doing wonders. Playing like Cannavaro 2006 WC. No need to tackle when you can intercept everything ;)

I shall reserve it for sharing it later. O' what an experience so far.

What I have noticed, is that its just a mirrored one. Note the A and S duties of the wingers. However, the creator can confirm. I haven't matched the player instructions.
 
This tactic works well against attacking teams. But against weak teams who have a lot of players in the defense, the result of the weak. But I liked this tactic.

Agreed. My Sevilla is predicted to finish 5th in 2021 and I have noticed the same against some opponents as well. But just can't let go of the system because of the immense discipline and defensive strength it shows.

Any suggestions for tweaks that can make this one break stubborn opposition defenses?

I have to confess though that I haven't experimented with changing the match prep to Att Movement before the matches against weaker teams which might help in climbing over the parked buses, since I am still early in my season (Sep. end) and wanted to stick to Team Cohesion and Tactics for a few more weeks.

Firstly the ifs closing down the full backs is actualy something that emulates the real atletico madrid tactics( although atleticos ara more playmakers playing narrow at the wingers position). Second... version 2 is set to be used so you dont get busted by the games AI..As for the weak teams althought i didnt have much of a problem i think if you try to drop deeper to create space for the counter and also change the mentality to attackin would work.. thx everyone for the feedback.
 
from time to time make it your startin tactic... you can switch to it in a match to confuse the oppposing tactic
...
