Average attributes compared

In the team report screen there is the comparison screen , this gives the best and worst attributes of teams in the same league , it also shows your teams average attributes , the one thing that has always done my head in is the actual average bar , that never shows you what the actual average attribute value of the whole league is , how do people find the average attributes by league , how can i have a proper search for player attributes if i dont have the actual average attribute value ?

I look at my team against the mean, or mid-point. Half way between the highest and the lowest in the league. It is usually pretty close to the actual average.

so add up the highest and lowest together and divide by two to get an average ? , shame it just doesnt give the value next to the average line
