I've just finished my 1st full season on 2013. Halfway though the season I sold Papiss Cisse for £17 million (8 million value) and brought Adam Le fondre for 2.5m. Cisse played 15 games and scored 3 goals in the 1st half of the season. Second half of the season Le fondre got 9 goals in 16.

With Cisse as my ST we were 8-12 position in the League. With Le Fondre I nearly finished 2nd if it wasn't for 1 point from the last games. I ended up 6th with no Europe.

What I'm thinking is how can a lesser player out perform probably the best poacher (ratings wise) in the league?

De fondre can pass, dribble and even head while Cisse with similar stats maybe better can't perform. I think they are around 10-11 rating for dribbling and passing.

Not complaining or anything as I brought Isco with the remaining profit. It Just baffles me.

While this is bizarre, it does happen. You can run a tactic one season with a team, restart with the same team and use it again and it will fail. On top of everything else with the game, there is a randomness within it, just like real life. If it was not there, great players would always be great and average would stay average. Real life isn't like that and the game reflects real life.
