Average ratings for fullbacks in Football MAnager 2015

Is it just me who's experiencing this? Not sure if I have the best fullbacks in the world or it's just a new game 'issue' :$

And no, it's not the tactic, because I've changed several in this 4-seasons-long save and the ratings have always been insanely high.

I did notice that a full back was given Serie B player of the season on my save, which seemed a little odd, but not sure if that warrants a bug. Your fullbacks could have very high values for consistency, it could be the way you set up tactically, opposition weakness or a number of other reasons. Having full backs that have 5 assists and a goal between them over 7 or so games suggests that they are attacking a lot, playing well and creating chances

Whenever I set my fullbacks on defend duty they get crazy high ratings, not 8,3 avg but still.

I get this but i do have Jung and Ghoulam who both have really high throwing stats, i just assumed it was the assists they were getting from throw ins to Hamsik on the edge of the box.

Oh yes that might be one of the reasons: I found throw-ins to be underrated by FM playes. I always buy FBs with a high relative stat so I can create loads of chances. For me they are equally important as corner kicks.
