He exceeded the required period by 52 days. Why it takes so much to get the citizenship?

Friend I've been awaiting paperwork for six months for a Mexican regen, don't know if it's a glitch but I've also heard sometimes the player does't want to take up second nationality. Anyway it's starting to severely **** me off.

In real life, it takes time for the application process to be finalised. The longest I've had to wait in game is 3 months. However I don't think it is a glitch. Think it is SI trying to make the game more realistic. I sympathise though, it is ****** annoying waiting for a verdict!
