Awakening Sleeping Giants-A Nottingham Forest Story

Forest Chairman issues warning to supporters
Nottingham Forest chairman Frank Clark has today warned Forest supporters to lower their expectations of Steve Cotterill's successor.
"The fans are expecting a big name manager and quite frankly, that is just not possible. The financial future of the club is already uncertain without us spending a lot of money on a 'big name' manager"
The uncertainty that Clark suggests is no small part down to the sudden death of the clubs owner,Nigel Doughty.
"Everytime Forest are looking for a manager its Martin O'Neill this and Stuart Pearce that. I'm afraid that a manager of that stature is just not acquirable for the club at the moment"
