This year ive decided to use my own made tactics, as its more fun this way.

The tactic im using destroys everyone when playing at home.

But away from home i get smashed by alot worse teams, the difference between home and away is a joke.

Ive tried playing counter or defensive, using more defensive positions/roles, playing more direct etc but it seems to make my team even worse.

Im arsenal, end of december, im 2nd in the league, so not to bad, but in champs league i won all 3 home games and lost all 3 away games so got put into europa league.

I played chelsea 2 games in a row (league and cup) we both used similar teams for both games, at home i beat them 4-0, and then at there ground they beat me 6-1, how can it be such a huge change?

Any tips on playing away or successful defensive tactics etc.

Thanks

So you're basically Arsenal last season?

Can I get a screeny of what you're using?

I had a similar problem with Arsenal, tactics wise i play Control and Fluid at home then for tough away games i switch to Control and Structured to sure it up at the back as i was conceding so many goals away from home.
I also switch it up in terms of playing to the wings if the opposition has a narrow formation, got to exploit the space!

I often struggle away (though not always, mysteriously spank teams on occasion), don't feel comfortable unless I'm attacking. Feel like playing defensively puts me on the back foot - not saying that's the case, think I'm missing something.
