Awful finishing

So I don't know what has happened with my team this second season, but nobody is scoring. It's not like they don't have chances to score, they have a lot, like a LOT of good ones, but it's like FM is forbidding them to score.
Griezmann 12aps-3goals
G.Jesus 14aps-0goals
Hazard 13 aps-2goals
Is there some kind of magic formula for scoring CCC and half chances which I don't know about?Finding it hard to believe griezmann scores 1/15 CCC.

Seriously. It's all about how you set up. Goalscorers need space and time to get goals.

Also, for a long time, I'm strongly of the opinion the game's accounting of CCCs is not right and it tends to count as such chances that should (almost) never go in and (almost) never go in, rightfully; while chances that are truly deserving to be counted as CCCs are only half chances. In fact, I think like 90% of my goals ever don't come from CCCs.
