That is sick. His leg is flopping after wards :| Disgusting challenge, should be banned for a while for that, and more than the regular 3-5 game ban, more like 3-5 months, may seem a bit harsh, but it will teach em to ease up a bit with challenges like that

If you think that tackle was acceptable or "wasn't a completely bad challenge" then you need your head examined, it was reckless, the guy can't play football ever again professionally, and he might lose all mobility of that leg. You truly do not understand the effect this challenge will have on his career, his life, and his families future.
 
it wasnt reckless though it was more marcin fault for the way came in axel was kick the ball not his leg
 
im not play it bk to ur self look at when it comes in marcin it stead of slid tackling the ball he trys to kick it while he is on the floor T HATS A BIT FOOLISH and he swings it wierdly and all axel is trying to do is kick the ball THOUGH there is some intent to indent he kicks the swings leg istead of the ball

I doubt he went in with the intention of breaking the other guys leg, but non the less its a horrific challenge, and it should be dealt with.

Axel Witsel and anybody who thinks that this wasn't a completely reckless and purposeful challenge needs their heads examining

He isn't trying to kick the ball. You don't kick a ball by stamping on it as hard as he does. The other player is simply swinging his leg (Completely fairly, not touching Witsel) to knock the ball away from him.
 
ok point about witsel buh the swinging leg thing he still shouldnt have dne that was one of the reasons it broke so bad
 
that tackle deserves a 10 match ban its horrible 100 times worse then the eduardo injury i didnt know a leg could move like that, it was only after watching it twice that i saw what had happend and now im feeling quite sick and im not squemish at first i thought oh its accidental but he went in 100% to injure the player, dirty player i have a feeling standard will tranfer list him and never play him again
 
Just read that anderlecht have announced Marcin Wasilewski will have 2 Operations and return in 10 to 12 months time

Terrible challenge. Video footage may suggest otherwise but only Wistel will know if Wistel meant to hurt the guy. Hopefully the victim can play again.
