If you want AMR, Mesías is amazing (not sure if he's a regen though). Much better than his stats suggest. Or get Cédric Moreau and try to retrain him to AMR.
If its MR, Jack Wilshere is absolutely quality for me. I was playing him as CM but injuries meant I had to stick him on the wing and he's been class.
