Rooney was probably our best player last season, everytime came out fighting and scored some great goals. Surely he scored more than 15?

He scored 11 goals in 29 games in the league.

In Europe and other cups he scored 3 in 6 games.

He scored 17 overall last season. He won't get the award though as players like Ronaldinho are just so much better.

Dont forget that rooney also did quite wel in the Euro 2004.
