OKay everything seems to be ready to go the only issue I am having is when I start the save the MLS is already 19 games in. Anyone know how I can change this?
 
When starting the game, check if the start of season date is correspondig to when the real MLS kicks off. I don't know exactly what it is but you should have a few options to select from. Select USA/MLS as playable nation/league and there should be "season starts in" option or something. It's hard to explain without the game but you'll find it ;)

I know what you are talking about but the USA starts in July 2013 too, but the season kicks off in March.
 
Load up the Brazilian league too and start it in December 2012 and then just remove the brazilian league in game
