I'm so rubbish after telling myself wouldn't spend no more cash on steam sale in the last few minutes of the sale got civ gold upgrade, star wars knights of the old republic 1 & 2 and shogun 2 total war for 11 quid **** you Valve!!!! looks like i'm gunna have a fight on my hand to get anything done at all for a while!!!!

my last purchase. X3 Terran Conflict. Though it was a real, real hard choice between that and Civ 4 complete for about 50p less.

Not sure yet-kind of mixed reviews, but the graphics look stunning. I'm playing Warcraft right now but playing X3 afterwards so let you know. Apparently it does have a steep learning curve though

I say I got shogun 2 fecking thing doesn't want to work after trying everything steam and twcentre suggest looks like ill have to get the full 12 odd gig download all over again see if that fecking works

I'd say it's worth buying based on what I've experienced so far (which is mainly crashing into stuff and dying. A lot). The graphics are also spectacular. If you're rig is high end crank the graphics up. But it's also going to require patience while getting used to it. Plenty of help vids on Youtube, and there is an intro sequence aswell. I've gone for the merchant level myself as it's easiest. I suspect I'm going to lose a lot of my time to this lol. But you will need to put in time and effort by the looks of it-I've barely scratched the surface.

should check out the humble bundle deal I just stuck $10 £6.78 I think the conversion was, but you pay what you want providing its a minimum of a dollar I think and get saints row the third, risen 2, sacred 2, saints row 2 and if you pay over the average payment ($4.91 at time of writing) you get saint row the third game plus dlc and dead island game of the year edition all are steam game codes. this is also for a good cause and you get to decide how your money is divided up between developer and charity

Yeah, just got this myself. Don't really like Dead Island, & I don't know much about Risen 2 but I'm going to get £6.77 worth of fun out of Saints Row 2 & 3 alone!

Not sure about Steam but origins servers are taking a hammering due to everybody trying to activate games at the same time. Im waiting a day or two before i even try origin at all

Meh, it's a good move by EA. Origin has such a terrible reputation that most people won't even go near it. They will be hoping this bundle increases the amount of people who use Origin. Judging by the hammering the servers have taken, it's worked.
