Back in FM10 it was regen Juan Pablo Sánchez Moya, a pace beast and the one of my two only ever successful strikers; I wanted to ask him to have my babies XD.

Decent end to the season I suppose with the cup win. Played a lot of youngsters to give them first team experience and it worked out quite well. Agreed a £40m fee for Stephane Ruffier with 3 clubs and he rejected the move away!!!!!

Out with the old and in with the new! Stephane Ruffier was sold to Barcelona for £17.5m - not bad a fee for a 32 year old player. He made 354 appearances for us. Borja Ekiza and Markel Susaeta left to join Valencia for £11.75m and £2.5m respectively. 31 y/o Ekiza (279 apps, 45 gls) was sold because we have a lot of good young centre backs at the club waiting in the wings and 32 y/o Susaeta (308 apps, 77 gls) was sold just for the cash really as he was on a big wage.
TOTAL INCOME=£31.75M

SUMMARY
18 y/o goalkeeper David has been promoted to the first team squad as 1st choice keeper while Roberto Gomez has been promoted from the B team to be a back up CB. Planning on playing Barandiaran alongside San Jose as my 2 CB's. Cristian Ayechu will take Susaeta's place in the squad as back up RW while I am also training Griezmann in that position.

Spain qualify for European Championships - yet to concede a goal

Goals galore in our matches this month! Conceding a few but with a back 4 and gk that has two people aged 18 and one 21 I would expect a few more let in - just aswell we are banging them in. Against Anderlecht we had nearly 40 shots on goal and missed a penalty!

A solid month as we stopped leaking goals and kept on winning! Rotated the players a little bit more this month as had qualified from our CL group quite early and the cup match was a mere formality. Got Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia in December though! Fernando Llorente requested a transfer as he felt he wasnt starting enough games - he is 34 and a club legend so will try and keep him but he wont be starting! lol

Good results this month aided by the fact we kept getting penalties and own goals in our favour! Fermin Garcia has now socred 10 out of 11 penalties this season and I know Lllorente and Sanz have had a few also. My favourite month is up next - key games and the youth intake!

Didnt think it was possible but Aitor Herrera has gone up a level performance wise! He has been outstanding. Came back from 2 down in the derby against Sociedad and against Barca we scored the winner deep into stoppage time.

So 1st timers in this game were De la Torre, David, Santano (Bilbao), Jose (Valladolid) and Sergio Ayala (Atletico Madrid). Also Lorenzo Del Cid got a recall to the squad about 6 years after I first capped him as a 16 y/o in my attempts to sign him! lol
