Ah I see. Wouldnt really be interested even if I could sign anyone - I like developing the younger players. It would be difficult to resist buying my usual players so would take a shine off the game for me.

A very successful month. Was staring defeat in the face against Man Utd until Smalling got sent off with 20min to go and we came back from 2 down. Fell behind in the derby against Real Sociedad but managed to turn it around.

well it wouldn't be really under your control in this case. Basically one of your reserve teams in non-playable leagues (I believe it's Baskonia) can sign foreign players and then you can indeed promote them to A.Bilbao (they'll automatically gain basque nationality when you do that).

Of course you cannot choose which players to sign (Baskonia manager will decide) and those players would probably never be good enough for your first team (best one Baskonia signed was Fidel Martinez from Ecuador). Just a little curiosity from my past A.Bilbao save :)

Ended up regretting late goals this month. Was 2 down to Porto then 3-2 up before conceding in last 5min then against Real Madrid we were level until they scored twice in injury time. Still plodding along nicely though.

When I went to my fixture list to do this update I noticed that I have now kept 9 clean sheets in a row! Superb. Especially pleased with the win over Atletico Madrid. Against Zaragoza Llorente scored a hat-trick of penalties and even missed one! Las Palmas still lead the way though and Barcelona are having a terrible season.

Got a steam achievement after winning the Club World Cup (trophy hoarder). A good month overall but against Barca we were 1 up and had a goal disallowed - Barca then scored in injury time to win it=gutted! We are however 2pts clear with 2 games in hand so all is good!

Title seems to be Bilbao's already - 9pts clear with game in hand

A great month. Was 6 up at half time against Atletico and the game crashed! But it carried on and I saved it and when loaded up again it was working fine. THANK GOD. Some fine performances individually with centre back Ugalde scoring a hat-trick and 16 y/o signing Alfredo scoring twice on his debut.

Ha! In the u19s just now - Llorente is now 32 so will be playing him less sooner or later, he has a decent scoring rate this season but has been helped with penalties which without them it wouldnt be great
 
Yeah maybe the next Llorente but the next best player in the world(Aitor) maybe not...

A couple of slip up this month. Defeats against Valencia (league) and Real Sociedad (cup) plus a draw against Valladolid where we were 2 down with 10min left. Got a great win away to Sporting Lisbon where Llorente missed a penalty to give him a hat trick.

Despite a defeat to lowly Real Betis this was a good month. Comfortable victories over Barcelona and Real Madrid plus a very young side beat Sporting Lisbon. Have a 13pt lead with a game in hand! Was quite disappointed with this years youth intake so a thorough player search is required!

Bilbao secure another title win

Heroic comeback from Bilbao in Champions League quarter final
U19s win league and cup

What a month! First off we lost 2-0 at home to Barca in Europe (from memory our first defeat at home to them) and was absolutely gutted but we came back against all the odds to win 3-1 in the second leg to go through on away goals - even after Muniain got sent off! The league title was wrapped up after our win against Las Palmas so will have the luxury of playing my youngsters again for the final few league games of the season.
In the Champions League semi we lost the first leg 1-0 away to Man Utd - we both had a goal disallowed and they had a man sent off but we still have a chance. I HOPE!!!
