Hi guys,

I'm playing FM 10...manager of bayern munich...would like to have all ideas about tactics, players for Bayern Munich
 
i can only say that you must put forward: Olic and Klose :)
 
sell ribery and robben -> buy özil some good DC´s and a left back
 
As you can see from my Sig I was pretty successful with Bayern. You will probably need to buy a Right Back first season and then go from there.

Selling Ribery is an option and I managed to get £47.5m for him at the start of the 2nd season after Man City followed him for a while.

I'm playing as Bayern too and often use a 4-3-3 formation for home games. I started training Robben as a striker and play him on the right hand side of the three. The dot under his name on the formation page will be orange or yellow (not very good), but he plays brilliant here and scores loads. I've done this a couple of times too so it wasn't a game specific fluke :)

Also, check out your youth team and the younger age groups of the national sides -- Germany has a crazy amount of top quality youngsters on the game.

you really think i should sell robben or ribery??
i have a pb with my strikers...olic is good enough..but klose or gomez are not scoring enough...that's my 1st season and im 1st in D1 after 10 games...
what about goalkeeper??**** or reseing are not good enough
 
Robben is quality mate -- check my previous post :) As for goalkeepers -- if you want to stay with German players then Adler, Neuer, Wiese and Dortmund's keeper are good.
 
yeah but i have a pb with the transfer funds...me tried to get neuer and adler...but they rejected my bid...you think i should wait to the 2nd season to have bigger transfer budget?

You could wait (and hope the transfer budget raises in second season) or you could try and sign them now using add-ons and future incentives? The latter is probably best option as Adler and Neuer often get snapped up by other big European teams if you leave it too late -- in my experiences with the game anyway. I wouldn't worry too much about strengthing the squad in first season (unless you're signing players for personal preference) because the Bayern squad is very good (in terms of talent and options) on FM.
 
ur absolutely right about Bayern squad...i will wait and see at the end of the season specially that im doing good in D1 and cup...champions league i qualified for the 2nd round but i dont thnk bayern can do it this season..do u have any other advise for me?

I'd suggest coming up with at least two tactics (whether you make them yourself or download some from this site.) If you stick with one for the duration of your game then the games engine will figure out your strong / weak points and you suddenly start drawing and loosing games that you were winning before. I usually play an attacking formation at home and then tweak it slightly for away matches -- just to keep the game's AI guessing a little.

Definately check out your youth squad -- there's a lot of great talent in there for the future. You can train up your best youngsters in different positions to suit your first-team tactics (for when they eventually break through) and in the 'interaction' tab on a player's main page you can assign a senior player to tutor them -- this should help bring them on a bit too.

Ask your board to look for a feeder club too -- this is good for when your younger players are ready for first-team football, but not at Bayern. You can also use this to give some of your reserves a run-out for a year (and raise their value slightly for when you come to sell them on.)

If you're going to keep the main squad together for the first season, I'd suggest sending your scouts out all over the place so that when you're ready to buy you'll have a wealth of information on players that could do a job for you.

Also, during half-time team-talks it helps if you tell any player with a match rating over 7.3 that 'you have faith in their ability'. For some reason, they then play even better in second-half.

1 question plz...i'm 1st in D1...quarter finals in the cup...quarter finals in the champions league against chelsea...my team was doing great...strikers were scoring a lot...now i'm not seeing the same play from the team...and they had a superb and very good on their forms...and now good and some of thm ok...im afraid to start losing and droping my 1st position...wht can b the problem here?
 
buy ozil, diekmeier, jordan henderson
sell the rest of the people that are always injured or you hardly use to free up space, wages, and have a bit of extra cash. im actually in 1st division with 1860 munchen. you should check it out i will be playing bayern soon! ;-)
 
will be waiting for that game :) yeah but my question is why the players are not happy enough and not playing like before...they are winning and 1st in the league and still in the cup and champions league..is there something i should do??

thanks man, ive always wanted to manager FC Bayern but i never have i dont know why. i just thought they would be to easy, yes fun but boring after a while.

so when fm2011 comes out i will manager FCB first. how is FCB to manage?
 
it is fun...cz u have good names and all want to play..it's hard also whn u have big names at the same club...i thnk that's y it is hard and fun at the same time

Are you changing your tactics? If you stick with one then the AI will figure you out after a while -- it doesn't matter how good your team is, once your tactics have been figured out your scores will drop.

Also, are you rotating players? If not, then your 'stars' will get tired if they're playing 3 games a week.

If I remember rightly, the wages for some of their players are extremely high and they're in debt at the start of game, i'd recommend selling the likes of klose, toni, van bommel and buying for the furture :)
 
i'm now at the 2nd season....1st season i won the D1 only...i got an offer for ribery for 46M and the board accepted it without getting bk to me...i gor ozil instead for 33M...and olic is great at the 2nd season...he had hatrick in 2 games so far...i tried to buy a goalkeeper but no one accepted...
 
i need help guys...is reising a good keeper or should i buy another 1?? i have ozil and nilmar now and they are doing good...but me having stupid goals...is it from defence or goalkeeper??
i need ur feedback plz...
