Yep, mad I know. Had them on positional training for what they were playing + attributes->quickness.

Better retrain DMs-CMs to become AMCs rather the opposite because very rarerely AMCs have good defending stats.
its a waste of time to try to increase 4 or 5 marking and tackling....

Honestly, just pace. Or pace and acceleration. I pick every outfield position by sorting by Pace.

Hi mate, i was fooling around testing the meta strikerless tactics and trying to create a 523 narrow strikerless when i came myself to this 5050 shape. I manage to win the domestic double in 1st season with Koln and the CL in the 2nd. This shape feels really powerful, especially against bigger teams, also i play the advanced WBs with sit narrower and the IFs and AMs with sit wider ppi and from what i see it creates some beautiful overlaps and underlaps (eg the AM receives the ball in half space and start running to the corner while the IF comes from wide to receive the pass in the box)

Nice @Karantinias . Very similar indeed! Second season CL with Koln is very impressive.

I'd be interested if changing the goalkeeper out of possession from sweeper keeper to 'goalkeeper' makes a difference for you? It seemed to tighten up my defence.

Similarly, using 2 channel midfielders instead of 2 attacking midfielders.

1) I put sweeper keeper cause i want my gk more aggressive with crosses, passes behind the defence back, loose balls etc, i dont know if it really makes a difference.

2) I just pushed my midfield double pivot, which i had them as AM, in the no10 position, so i haven't really tested different roles and combinations for the no10s.
