Hi everyone

I have been playing for football manager for the last few years and I have won a few trophies but only with higher reputation clubs. I have seen other threads written where they win prem titles with team such as Lincoln and I would like to do that but I can never be consistent enough with teams of that standard. Even though winning with big teams is excellent it would be nice to take on a challenge of managing lower leagues clubs and actually being successful.

What I would like to know is how you become successful eg tactics, team talks or transfers?

Well, first off is forming your formation, you should select it based in the players you have and the teams you are playing. If you don't see yourself as a good tactic creator maybe look on here for one of the premade tactics. I reccommend Jake's, Jp Woody's and Mr Hough's. Training is also important. Many use the Tugs Training which can be found on this site. Another thing is teamtalks, and a great guide can be found (here). don't forget to be thorough and not to give up at first sign of defeat. You should also take a look at some of the stories on here such as Jake's Cultural Leonsea story for ideas and pointers.

1.Your abililty to get the best out of your players
2.Your tactical Knowledge and your skills in tweaking them when required
3.Your ability to spot good players by scouting them and bringing them to your club
4.Your consistency in being able to motivate your players and ofcourse a good training schedule
