Hello I have decided to do my own journeyman story. My aim is to win the Premier League with a side within 7/8 seasons. I won't start unemployed or in the bottom Indonesian league or whatever I will start in a decent league but as a poor side. I've loaded 8 leagues but only the top tier of each league. I am going to decide who I will start as in a minute. Oh and my past experience will be set to automatic. Please follow and feel free to comment, thanks.

Good luck but journeyman stories are better when you start unemployed because then its more of a challenge and more realistic

RKC Waalwijk

Ben Worthington a young 30 year old manager has joined Dutch club RKC Waalwijk on a seasons contract. Some RKC supporters are very unhappy at the appointment especially after Ben said that RKC is only a stepping stone to greater things for him. RKC are predicted 18th (bottom) in the Dutch Eredivise and Bens first season in charge may be very, very diffcult.

I chose Waalwijk as I thought it was possibly the most difficult challenge out of all the clubs I could choose.

Got an unbelievably difficult start to the season. FC Utrecht, Ajax, AZ then FC Twente! Hopefully pick up a couple of points then go and get some wins on the table!

I won't post pre-season. It is unimportant and is only to get people fit :)

Just found a beast of a youngster in my U-19's. Juventus are interested and I am currently negotiating, I will post screenies later :)

You should have done the Braga Journeyman challenge :P

I was going to but decided against it.

I will update in about an hour :). Btw I am using JP Woodys 4-2-3-1 high scoring tactic, with a few tweaks.

Transfers:

Well I felt these were very good transfers however I calculated that I only got about 80% of transfer revenue which meant I had to use monthly installments for a couple of my transfers in.

Not good enough

We never played well against FC Utrecht and lost our first game of the season. This game was important too as we have some very difficult fixtures coming up :(

Giantkilling?

Nope, no hope of a giant killing today we were outclassed by Ajax, next match won't be any easier either, against AZ :S

No chance

Beaten again at the hands of AZ. Maybe a bit more of a chance next game against Steve Mclarens, FC Twente.

What a win!

Our first points of the season come in an away game against one of the top teams in the league FC Twente! Next game ADO Den Haag.

Another win

We got another good win today against Den Haag and the team is now starting to gel, Sparta Rotterdam next.

Our first draw

Not a bad result against Sparta, neither team never looked like scoring with no clear cut chances in the match. Next match Vittese Arnhem.

By the way, you can check your transfer income pecentage on the "Board Room" tab under "Finances" So you don't need to estimate :P

Good luck though mate, shame you couldn't join us in the FM-Base Journeyman Race!

Haha never knew that, thanks it is at 85%.

Tough one

Was never going to be an easy game especially away from home and it proved to be too much for the lads, not good enough!

The delight of the Dutch Cup

I weakened my side for the first time giving a few players debut's against FC Babberich. A good result takes us to the next round of the Dutch cup. We play Roda JC next.

Good read so far, maybe do an update for games every 4 games or so, otherwise you'll end up with about 13 pages at the end of one season :P

Goodluck but can't really call it a Journeyman save if you don't start unemployed.

A good win

A very good win. Brilliant second half performance sealed it for us, well played the RKC players. Next up, Feyernood away!
