Great month

Won all our league games this month including the away game at Feyernood, out of the Dutch cup however (my own fault for weakening the team).

Great read so far man! I'll be following! Good luck :D

Thankyou very much Finn :)

Interview with Ben Worthington!
Mr Worthington, your team is starting to come together now and you are getting some great results on the field, what is the key to your success?
It's obvious, no? The players are what make a football club and the players get the results. Michael Emerano, Jang Hak Young and Mitchell Donald have been some of our best performers so far and Jean-Daniel Padovani has made some great stops in goal while also being very consistent.

You talk of your admirance of Mitchell Donald and you have him on loan, do you wish to make his deal permanant?
Well... It is very very early days yet and we are just happy to have him here til the end of the season, that is when we will decide whether to keep him here and when we will decide whether to negotiate with Ajax for his services.

With the past few results, media have speculated that you could get a top half finish this season, do you think this is possible?
Maybe. Anything is possible with the players we have at the club. We have some brilliant talent but our aim is to avoid relegation, if we can do this we will push on from there and look to get as high up in the Eredivise as possible.

Well, first of all sorry, I haven't been posting on the site for ages now and second of all I will post more results tomorrow after college, thanks :)

Right, going to try and get back on track with this, I will post some more results in a sec :)

An average month

2 wins, 2 losses. The games we lost were very dissapointing with the missed penalty against Groningen and then Heerenveen got a very late winner against us :(

A short and sweet December

The PSV game was brilliant, we were so unlucky. 2-0 up after 17 minutes and we came in 2-1 up at half time. Sat back in the 60th minute and 10 minutes later they equalised. 10 minutes later they finished us off :( We bounced back well though and got 2 comfortable results against VVV and Sparta.

Transfer news

Roel Brouwers set for RKC Waalwijk?
RKC manager Ben Worthington has decided against commenting on the latest transfer gossip. Borrusia Monchengladbach's transfer listed central defender Roel Brouwers has been linked with RKC and Brouwers' agent has confirmed the over-achieving dutch club has shown interest. The price tag is thought to be up to £1 million though which could prove to be a stumbling block as RKC already has a good defense.

Is this why he wants Brouwers?

8 goals conceded in 2 games! And only 1 point in 2 games RKC could and should of won. After there latest run of form maybe we are all expecting too much?

2 late January signings!

Brouwers and De Jong sign on the dotted line!
A defender was needed was the thinking after a poor January and one was signed. Roel Brouwers who was linked with RKC earlier in the month signs for around £800,000 and Luuk De Jong signs on loan from FC Twente to add a bit more depth to the RKC strike force.

Brouwers at the training ground yesterday! And Luuk De Jong signs to the end of the season

A good month

It was probably better than good actually but we lost to FC Groningen, again! We also drew with NEC. Wins against Feyernood, PSV and Heerenveen made it a month to remember though and I am sure the fans will be delighted with those 3 results. 6 goals conceded in 5 is an improvement and if we can keep scoring goals we should at least finish in the top half-proving our critics wrong and staying well away from the bottom of the Eredivisie :)

His most difficult month in charge?

Ben Worthington faces a tough task to come away with any points in March. He has 4 very very difficult games:

Home: FC Twente
Away: AZ
Away: FC Utrecht
Home: Ajax

Absolutely unbelievable

Possibly my best month in charge? Comfortable at home to FC Twente. An exciting 1-0 win against AZ which we dominated for much of it. Then a loss away to Utrecht consoled by the win against giants Ajax. We actually dominated the FC Utrecht game though and they scored an equaliser in the 92nd minute with a debatable penalty. But what a month, I couldn't of asked for better from the lads and we move on into April as the season finish draws nearer.

3rd in the league!

At the start of the season Ben Worthington's RKC Waawijk were being tipped for relegation and the media prediction for the club was absolutely bottom of the Eredivisie! Ben has not only kept the team well away from relegation though, he has got them fighting for European places with teams like, Ajax, FC Twente, PSV and FC Groningen! What a season the manager is having.

Going great! Classy results against the big sides!

Yeah some top results against the big teams, unfortunately can't keep it consistent though and we struggle against the lesser sides but were still going brilliantly, I will update again tonight or possibly tomorrow :)

Well then my inconsistent updates let me down again, I promise I will upate till the end of the season soon :D
