Best 4-2-3-1 Tactics???

What would people recommend is the best 4-2-3-1 tactic? I've downloaded countless versions from this site and others, and i've tried making my own over and over again but i've still struggled to find one that really works well - I'm starting to wonder if 4-2-3-1 even works on this years FM!!

Does anyone know one to recommend? One that doesn't stop working after half a season!!

Read that and if you want your CAM to be your prime creator i would suggest...
If you play Control/Attack then CMs as DLPs and a Treq as CAM.
If you play Counter then CMs as BWMs and a AVP as CAM.
With that in mind it depends on your preferences really for the rest of your team roles and instructions.

It may not be much help but Ive been playing around with the 4-2-3-1. What Ive discovered so far is that the 4-2-3-1 deep with a rigud control philosophy is the way to go. Both FB on Auto, 2 DC Def, Regista, DM Def and a Trequartista. The wide men and striker wingers and an Adv Forward have worked for me but so have IF and CF and all kinds of combos. As I say, probably not much help but if you take what Ive said and play about with it you might hit gold.
