Best Defensive Midfielder?

I have 3 defensive midfielders in my team - Mascherano; Blaise Matuidi and Steven Defour. You seriously couldn't go wrong with either of them. I would imagine the latter 2 would be cheaper if you're not wanting to pay big big amounts for them!

Totally, the only problem I have with him is that he gets booked a lot which is very frustrating!

Does a defensive midfielder really need a great heading stat? An anchorman is there simply just to break up play?

Heading helps, but yea its not a vital stat, like per say stamina or tackling.

I think Capoue needs to be looked at more, he is in the shadow of Sissoko at Toulouse but he is also quality

Using Fellaini on my current Everton Save. Solid and consistent for me, ****** aggressive though. ;D
There are better options no doubt, just my two cents.

I buy Otamendi and retrain him to be a DM. His lack of size and jumping ability isn't exposed as much and I have Verkhovstev, Situ and Appiah in rotation behind him to clear the airways. I've noticed he averages 7.1+ as DM but only 6.9 as a CB in my game

^ you need to turn off ask wizard when you start new game on prefences then change the database size when you start a new game to medium.


i think franco zuculini for me is amazing if you play him then ina year hes like rossi nearly i had him in my liverpool team in 2 years i had to sell mascher cus of him!felipe melo is quality! fabian delph is good if you play him cus him and zuculini progress so much so quickly! with 16 mil though i would get ever felipe melo or annan.
