We've all had forwards bang in 30+ goals before and attacking midfielders scoring and assisting their way into the players of the year positions but it's not too often you see defenders and defensive midfielders cracking the highest rated players.
So.... I want to know and see some of your best ever season performances for these types of players and whether anyone can beat what my main man Leighton Baines managed to produce this year for my Everton side. He has to be considered for Balon D'or at this rate.
