Best free agents after first season

Hey guys,

Not sure if this has been discussed before but I couldnt find anything.

I am Derby County with an extremely tight budget - I will absolutely be relying on free transfers if I dont get promoted (4th in January so fingers crossed).

I know it varies but is there anyone that comes up on a free in the first Jan for signing at the end of the season.

There are a lot of decent players in the Argentinian 1st division that contracts expire in January so maybe you could snap a couple up and get them straight into the team now. The only problem is whether they would join a championship side and also get a work permit
