To say David Beckham isn't special is ridiculous. He may not have scored as much recently as he does earlier in his career, but he was certainly godly. The way he can shoot from over 25 yards and bend it far from the goalie's reach and right into the corner of the net is godly. And like Nakamura, he has also scored free kicks from low angles. Juninho is probably better, but Beckham is one of my childhood heroes so...

To be the BEST freekick taker you have to have some level of consistency.
Which puzzles me to know why Ronaldo is on this list.

1. Juninho
2. Riquelme
3. Del Piero
4. Beckham
5. Ronaldinho

If you look at the comments below the video on youtube there is likely to be people asking & an answer there.

Thank you i found it

For anybody else that would like to no the song its called Gladiator feat Izzy - Now We Are Free

Juninho is the best freekick taker as he can hit one in from practically anywhere within 40 yards of the goal, but then you've got players like Beckham and Roberto Carlos who can bring others into play by swinging a ball into the area from astonishing angles from freekicks.
It really depends what you mean by 'the best', because there are players who can be a Juninho but not a Beckham or vise versa :)

it was hard to tell who, but probably juninho.
thou i had in mind ronaldinho, riquelme

Why did so many people vote for C Ronaldo?! He, like roberto carlos, just shoots hard. Works some times, but hardly world class.

Juninho and Pirlo, easy. Why on earth has no one mentioned Pirlo? Becks good as well of course.

Just me or we seeing fewer awesome free kick takers these days?

Pirlo is good, but rather inconsistent on dead ball situations since the 2006 World Cup.

Not Juninho anymore. I don't see why Sneijder doesn't get a mention, he's a beast! Van Persie can really hit 'em, too, although he fires way too many into the stands to be considered for something like this. Nakamura is a masterful free kick taker still.

No Del Piero? No Pirlo?

I would have voted pirlo.

Not seen Juninho play for ages but remember he was good.
Ronaldo scores like 1 in 20 if hes lucky
Never seen Srna score one so wouldnt vote for him.
Beckham is good for crossing but doesnt score many. Id assume statisticly hes very low goals rating.
Nakamura? Well I'm a Celtic fan so will leave him out to save any bias oppinion I may have.

It's a subjective question in football when you are asked about players.
So ,because its free-kicks, it has to be the best , and that is the only one and only: ZICO!!
Some teams in Brazil even stopped defending his free-kicks with a wall, because it was like taking penalties for him.
Nowadays, its difficult to say, each brazilian team got 3,4 free-kick's specialist, same level and even better than Juninho but no one talks about them. Rogerio Cerni, S.Paulo Goal-Keeper, is as good as Juninho.

meh, does any1 know any cheats or have pua serial numbers for the game??, tell is now

I am absolutely shocked at the claims that Beckham is an average free kick taker.

Juninho is the best but give credit where it is due and Beckham can certainly take a free kick.

Also anyone see Ronaldo's latest free kick against Marseille? Pretty amazing.

It has to be Beckham. Ronaldo second. Haven't seen any evidence of Juninho being this magnificent free-kick taker so can't comment.
