So basically my Late 2011 MBP died last week and will cost approximately $1000 to have the logic board replaced.
Needless to say being in my last year of uni,I thought it's best to utilise my student discount one last time and get myself a new Macbook.
Previously I was running football manager 2014 just fine on the machine which had an i5 processor and 4 gb ram-standard machine.
Now this time I am confused between basically three choices.
These are:
1)New 2014 MacBook Air with a 1.7ghz i7 processor and 8gb ram and 128gb pcie based flash storage.
It will cost me 1499-120 on the student discount so approximately $1380.
2)Certified refurbished late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro with a 2.4ghz i5 processor and 8gb ram and 256 gb flash storage. This costs me $1440 since no discount is available on refurbished models.
3)New 2014 Retina MacBook Pro with a 2.6ghz i5 processor and 8gb ram and 128gb pcie based flash storage.
This will cost me $1480.

So basically I'm a commerce student and so do not have a lot of heavy computing other than streaming movies and MS office.
Football Manager is basically the component of the computer I spend most of my time on.
what is the best computer for me to get?
all the prices are quoted in Australian dollars.
URGENT HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

Any specific reason why mantorras77?
asking since I posted the same question on mac forums and the two answers I have gotten were to go for option 2.

Also, one more addition to the list is 4)certified refurbished 2012 MacBook Pro with 2.9Ghz i7 processor,8gb ram and 128 gb ssd.
