Chelsea signed Dzeko on a free in my save... I was annoyed to say the least.
I did get Hamsik for 7m, one season in, though, which is pretty good. He was listed by request, got offered to me for 9.25m and because I'd just signed Hazard I put through a 7m non-negotiable bid and it god accepted :)

Newcastle save;Christian Benitez-paid 2.1mill got 32 league goals in return as well as him picking up the european golden boot,player of the year,team of the year and highest average rating.

Sold to Inter the next season for 35mill,man utd,chelsea,real madrid,man city all putting in bids of 25mil held out for his release clause though!

His replacement is Oscar Cardozo and is currently on 8 games 12 goals for 8.75mill!
Owen Hargreaves for free is a great bit of business as well,hasn't got injured yet and hasn't dipped below an 8 yet!
 
Khouma Babacar for £8m !st season at Man United. So far he's played 9, scored 12, and got 5 assists. Also got Van Der Viel from Ajax for £7.5M, possibly my best defender so far this season.
 
Eden Hazard 11m.

Scored 7 and assisted 16 in first 20 games then Barcelona bid 72m which I rejected, he's too good!
 
Dunno if he's been mentioned, but Landon Donovan for 7.5M...He's a God in whichever league you sign him in, whether its EPL or the Ukrainian Premier Division...Odds are he'll end up being the highest scorer in the league in the very first season
 
Had the chance to sign Ganso for £9m end of first season. Was injured until the week after the window closed so he failed a medical. #rage
 
Signed Benedikt Howedes for 8 million in my first season for Liverpool in 11.2 and played nearly every game for the next 5 years and has been consistently my best player.
 
On my Atletico Madrid save, I signed Sergio Araujo for £1.4 million and he single-handedly won me the Champions League final.
Also signed Marek Hamsik for £10.25 million and went on to sell him for £31.5 million only 2 seasons after (used the cash to sign Javier Pastore who is insanely good!).
 
cheapest player n dearest

One of the cheapest best players i brought was lukaku for around 7mil but dearest was this season was a part payment over 2 years for 50mil for hummels
 
Lucas - Sao Paulo on my AC Milan save, had a minimum release clause of 6 Million (Before the patch).
Also Roberto Carlos (The old guy) also on my AC Milan save, signed for little under 2 Million and he was a beast for 2 seasons.
