Best players to sign for a high-end Championship club?

Bargains don't necessarily matter, but I still find it hard to attract good players immediately.

Wahlqvist - CB (awesome and quickly becomes world class)
Wilson CF - Man Utd - loan him at first till his contract runs out then get him on a bosman.

Ion Nedelceanu - brill cb/dm
Andrei Ivan - cf whose value and ability quickly shoots up
Ryan Hardie - dirt cheap for what he offers (CF)
Sergio Diaz CF
