Mata plays on the left. I've never really liked him though. Sanchez and Gervinho do the trick for me. However if you play on a defensive strategy they do struggle a bit. Play offensively and they'll play phenomenally well.

You can retrain Douglas Costa to that position. He is dark green at that position to start with.
