I have just achieved promotion from League 1 to Championship and will need to strengthen my squad in certain areas. My game is currently in May and the players are about to leave for their summer holidays.
When is the best time to start signing new players? At the moment I don't have the transfer / wage structure etc in place to be able to afford the players I want but I'm worried that the best players will be snapped up if I leave it until later in the summer when I do have funds.
