Best Way to play?

What do you reckon the best way to play is...


Starting at the top, with the big clubs, with big players and lots of money

or

Starting at the low leagues and building up?

Im having problems settling into a game, just wondering what you lot do.

depends on what u like mate try take charlton to premier league winners and dominate europe because you would enjoy that as its ur team

If you've just started playing FM10 I'd probably say being a big club first just to get used to everything then move down the divisions. Being the club you support always helps as you'll be less inclined to quit

I've become attached to teams that I have been on past games - e.g Ajax, Paris Saint Germain and Stalybridge Celtic and have now done so with portuguese 2nd div Paredes. I just never be a massive club because I prefer a bit of a challenge so I would never be my beloved Manchester United. Each to their own though I guess

when a new FM comes out i go a good team for a quick season or two just to get used to it then ill make a boro save and then a low league save and play between them

If you're new to FM start with a big and preferably wealthy club like Man City or Arsenal. This way you can first learn the tactics and gameplay and then move on to smaller clubs and learn to find good value for money players, building strong squads and so on. Most importantly make sure you can take a loss. For me its losing games that keeps me going as I know I can do better.
