Best way to scout...

Has anyone worked out the best/quickest way to judge players ability when scouting yet? Im scouting them for a week and getting literally 2 attributes pop up, its getting frustrating!

Id like to know this as well. Im managing in the Conference North, so my scouts arent very good.
