I was just looking around and noticed there was no thread for this yet.

Former Liverpool and Everton player Gary Ablett has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after being taken ill last week.

(non-Hodgkin's lymphoma - type of cancer)

Yeah, just found this on Yellowboard.

Maybe not the best manager, but was always honest, and all us County fans appreciate him taking the job and sticking with it in the circumstances that we were in.

Never heard of him, hope he recovers tho.

He used to be our manager, and Liverpool Reserves, also played for Liverpool and Everton, currently at Ipswich as a coach.
