Big money transfers in always flopping???

Ive always had this problem with FM. If i buy a player for 10m+ then he never performs. This season for example I have spent 18m for a striker and 40m for a CB and they're both consistently playing useless.

But its not just this season...this ALWAYS happens to me.

Any advice?

MAYBE a wrong tactic??

if you payed that much for a player they can't be that inconsistent. Get assistant manager advice, who's he's best partner, who's the player he's getting best with etc. There MUST be something.
